today, while i was talking to haj about an hour after lunch, suddenly she told me that my lower lip is bleeding. but i have no feeling at all! chiong to the toilet, and ya.. she's right.. blood can be seen on a slit of my lip. boohuhu~ it just bled for no reason. well.. haj's lips bled some time ago probably because she's fasting. but i'm not even fasting!
so, tried to stop the bleeding by pressing it by tissue. it did stop.. but not for long.
my lip started bleeding again when i was chatting with my colleague at the bus stop while waiting for bus. damn! and this time round, it got worse. the wound got bigger and the red polka dots on my tissue grew bigger and bigger as well and the worst is.. it hurts like hell!
so, i was holding a tissues on my lip for the entire journey till i got home. i bet people must be wondering if i'm holding on to my tooth which is dropping out, or i must have cracked a huge pimple on my chin.
but thankfully, the bleeding stopped after my shower. or else, my dinner would be ruined!

out to jp today. ate my long-time-no-eat kfc. woah.. it's really been a long time since i last ate that.. can't even remember when was it. so it tasted exceptionally yummy today =p
wy failed to buy the shoes that she likes cos 1 of the shoe's bow was merely sticked onto the shoe by scotch-tape.. can you imagine that?! it's scotch-tape okay.. not even a double side tape.. tsk tsk tsk! so proceed to je for the shoes hunting instead cos die die she gotta buy 1 for work by today. well.. in the end she did bought 1 but it's not really those "love at the first sight" lah.
gal.. next time don't buy things only when you need it urgently.. so last minute. see what happen! limited choices and end up buying one that you don't really like. you wanna save money, but ended up wasting.. certain things are worth having spares de =)
i'm kinda bored at work lately but not because i have nothing to do. i don't know.. i'm just bored lah. having trouble focusing.. mind has been wandering everywhere.. too many things in mind.. kinda lost. jiu4 jiu4 wo3~

lunched at sim megabites today. soofeng happen to be there as well but i could hardly recognise her. when she came to me and acted as if she's a dish-collecting auntie, i stared at her for a few seconds before i knew who she is.. ha!
strolled around the campus after that imagine how boliao we are huh.. how i missed those days.. back to hlm garden where i spent my torturous days there for my FYP.. and i'm so surprised that the lock to the garden hasn't change, meaning i still can access to the garden with my key.. heh =p
gals, thanks for lending me your ears and time. though it didn't really solved the issue, it still kinda help a little.. thanks =)

bad day.
i have no idea where to start. was on the verge of crying today in the office.. i'm so sad till i couldn't fall asleep during my break though that was part of my daily routine.
ah~ it was all a misunderstanding.. miscommunication.. that's all! everything was fine for the past few weeks.. what happened? do you have to be so hurtful that you don't even accept my apology? i never wanted to be in the competition.. but i just couldn't help to be dragged into it due to circumstances and environment. you wanna win.. by all means.. take whatever glory you want.. i want none of those. i never wanted to outshine you, of cos not to mention using underhand methods. i'm not the one who can control the comments from the "heads", and that's the reason why i make sure i keep a distance with the "heads" because i don't wanna be accused of bootlicking. i just want to go to work, back from work and take my pay.. that's all. i kept giving in to you.. i'm just trying to lighten your load.. i don't even expect a thanks from you, but what i got was that i'm snatching your work. alright, i don't bother anymore, and then you said that you have too much.. then what do you expect me to do?

monday was the worst day of the week.. mainly because i was having headache and sore throat for the whole day in the office cos i was down on sunday with fever that cause my head to feel so heavy and the plain water that i drank were bitter.. bleh!
still remember that day that i didn't have the appetite to eat, but still forced myself to eat while watching the movie KingKong because i don't wanna be absent for work on mon, so in the end i have to take panadol in between my meal in order to continue my dinner. but thankfully the headache stopped after monday, so i'm only left with sore throat cos tuesday was a happening day to most of the library staffs because it's the E-Resource Day.
so, all the staffs were in the NUS Libraries tee for the whole day. we even teased ourselves as factory workers.. ha! and for that day, i guess i worked for less than 6hours cos there's talks for us to attend.. and mrs lee assigned me to help out at the booth together with herman, jonanthan and some other staffs from other departments. hmm.. didn't know the students there were kinda kiasu.. cos some of them actually approached us for the free gifts, but there were some who rejected our offer because they already got it earlier.. honest people seh. so after attending to the booth, it's finally showtime.. dance performance by the staffs! all the staffs came down to support and i must say it's a successful performance. though it's not very fantastic, but still, cheers to their courage!
out to holland v for dinner last night with the girls! finally after don't know how long. stayed back in the office for 1.5hours before heading to meet them at buona vista control station because i didn't want to go home and come out again. ate at Crystal Jade Restaurant for steamboat buffet and because of the free flow of xiao long bao!! very nice! but because we ordered too many food, that we actually thought of stuffing the food into our mouth and "smuggle" them to the toilet.. haha! hilarious things the girls can think of. but in the end, we used a more practical and workable method, which is "smuggling" the food to the toilet by plastic bag.. ta da!
homed at about 12.30a.m.. how i wish we can have such gatheriing every month.. but i know it's impossible cos we are all busy with studies and work. oh well.. i guess we should just be contented with what we have now.

it's saturaday again! well.. this time round i'm home. gotta keep up to my schedule before everything got delayed.
after a hectic week.. finally got some time to unwind. somehow i feel that this week past damn fast.. probably it's because i'm busy i guess. let me see.. ok.. this week, 2 meetings, 2 cataloguing training sessions, 1 talk for all the MAs and professionals involved in the cataloguing team, plus submission of appraisal form.. see what i mean by hectic? and and and! ERM project is resuming soon..! the ERM team is growing but the workload is not lighten. oh well.. what can i do? *shrug*
actually i don't really mind the resuming of the ERM project, cos it doesn't require much usage of the brain cells =p somemore i'm excused from all other work when i'm working on the ERM.. hee! but the bad thing is, it's damn boring lah! i'll start yawning after doing ERM for 30mins.. boo!
yesterday was extra busy. firstly, it's because it's the last day for the submission of the appraisal form. and somehow, mine got a little problem due to the wrong input from the system and that took up half of my morning. then, i gotta catalogue some books because of the training in the afternoon, so that my lao shi can check my work. but at the same time, gotta prepare the AV materials for the next training lesson.. hoo~ then, i received 1 big stack of orchestra scores from my leader to catelogue even though she knows i have no time for it, that's because the ladies never like music scores except me cos they can't understand.. hehe.. so can predict that in the future, they will dump alot of music scores to me or wait for me to deal with the "beansprouts" ba.. but at least she's kind enough to tell me to do it only when i'm free la.. how nice.. ha!
ok.. something hilarious happened yesterday. i only knew that i forgot to bring my staff card along when i was making my way out of the library for my lunch. i thought of going back to the office to get it but the ladies said i can just tell the colleague who was doing duty at the reception desk, so i went off without my card.
as we returned to the library, i approached my colleague at the RD, while the ladies went in first and below is our conversation:
Me: hi, gk, can you let me in because i forgot to bring my card?
GK: ok, you have to give me your number. *huh?*
Me: I also need to give my number meh?
GK: I need to check in the system whether are you a student of NUS or not first. *HUH???*
Me: gk, you don't recognise me???
GK: oh! you wendy ah? HAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHA.........
lol! and the funny thing is, i was standing directly infront of her, looking at each other while we were having that conversation, and she still thought that i'm a outsider who is trying to get into the highly-secured library despite having working there, in the same department for almost 5 months.
i didn't mouth a word about the incident after returning to the office though i'm still laughing at it, because i knew words travel faster than bullets in the office and i didn't want gk to hate me for spreading her hilarious act. but still, words got into the ears of the colleagues cos there's 3 ladies behind me whom witnessed the entire "comedy" and so, they were laughing their heads off after confirming that incident with me -.-
