The trip back from school last night was terrible. I was still feeling a little nausea when I was in the lab, so chionged finish whatever we were supposed to do and left early. Felt like cabbing home but thought of the medical bill I spent, in the end I still opted for bus. Made it home with the help to Mentos.. phew!
Going back to work tomorrow, wonder what is awaiting me.

Of all my 21 years, it was my first time having food poisoning and I thought I was going to die.
It all happened on Friday night when I felt nausea after dinner. Still remember I was doing standard deviation calculation for my lab assignment. The vomiting started at about 10plus. Thought everything went back to normal after throwing up everything, I went straight to bed still feeling sick, with my stationary and papers scattered on the table.
Then, 2nd round at about 2.30. Got out of bed, went to the washroom and more "things" came out from my mouth. That was when I thought I was going to die because I felt so weak and it's 2.30 in the morning. What would happen if I just fainted in the washroom? I would only be rescued probably 6 hours later cos it's public holiday.
Then, 3rd round at 4pm. Subsequently after the scary thoughts during the 2nd round, I shaken up my mom. Though kinda felt bad disturbing her sleep, I really felt better knowing at least somebody was with me.
4th round at 4.30. 5th round at 6plus and 6th round at 7plus. Really throwing up until I was so scared that I carried the bin with me everywhere I go.
Drag my feel to see the doc at 8.30 sharp, but most clinics don't open during public holiday. Stupid doc who doesn't know how to earn money, public holiday is the best timing when everybody closes their clinics! Still, managed to find a smart doc. Didn't even know I was feverish until the doc took my temperature. Got a jab and medicine and homed.
Yesterday was still feeling unwell and jellified and I hardly eat anything except for a few spoonful of porridge. Literally forced the porridge to go down my throat otherwise I couldn't have the medicine. The sight of food on the television and the smell of food at the hawker center are enough to make me feel nausea. Almost threw up at the hawker center while waiting for mom to buy the porridge. Luckily I did not, otherwise I would have been scolded or shooed by the people there.
Things got better this morning. At least I have regained some level of energy though my appetite isn't back yet, only managed to eat half bowl of rice and I didn't even drink much of my favourite soup when normally I can easily pour down a big bowl down my stomach, and yet I'm feeling very full now.
And because I threw up so much, I hurt my throat and lost my voice. I sound as if I'm always whispering but I'm actually not.
This incident really sent me thinking, am I eating so much of the outside food that I'm hurting my poor stomach unknowingly? But what am I suppose to do, can't possibly skip my dinner and go straight for class right? *sighs*
Alright, I'm going back to my lab report. Hope everything will be fine tomorrow.
