just got back from LSCT Alumni dinner. it's good to see the old friends and lecturers once again. but i have to say, not many turned up especially for my batch. food was so-so.. but they were wiped out real fast. decoration was.. erm.. below average? especially the stage.. omg.. and the table centerpiece. oh well.. shouldn't expect much i guess.. it's the artwork and effort of the students.
shall upload pictures some other days.
kinda tired mentally. despite that, i still wanna pour my woes out.. or else maybe tonight i'll be so damn "bloated" by my woes.
it's kinda difficult to explain though. hmm.. just to say i was.. a little mad at a colleague of mine. ok... there's this project that we are handling and somehow it kinda stucked at her end.. and i really need to get things moving because the deadline is on the coming friday. well.. things got stucked with her is because she's not doing the things she is supposed to be.. meaning she's doing things that are not really that urgent.
so.. explained to her.. and apparently, she doesn't seemed to understand, as if i'm speaking in alien language. she continued with her "not-so-urgent" things and promised that she'll be able to give me the stuff that i wanted by mon cos she's planning to do it during the weekends. well.. since she said so.. what more can i say?
this afternoon, she online and told me that she's working. but! she forgot to copy a file back which is required, and came asking me how.
*how is she "working", when she has no idea how to continue because of that unavailable file?*so meaning she can't do it without the file, which also means she won't be able to give me the stuff i wanted by mon. so i told her to do those that doesn't required her to refer to the file, and highlight those that she's not able to do it now, so she can check on them on mon. in this way, she'll just have to do the other half of the work on mon.
and guess what happened?...
she offlined.
how "courteous", and "well-mannered" huh?
it's not as if i'm the one who tell her to work on weekends, she volunteered to do it. if she were to work on it when i told her to, she won't even have to work on weekends. and even if she were to carry on with her not-so-urgent things and ignore whatever words that are coming out of my mouth, i wouldn't ask her to work on weekends as well. cos it's unfair to her as i know none of us is paid for working overtime.
ok.. shall see what will happen on monday ba. hopefully she's able to give me the stuff by then, or i don't know what will happen. i hate it so much to scold her, but somtimes i just got so pissed and stressed by the deadline and she's adding on to my pressure.. pushing me to my limits. i don't wanna be seen as bad-mouthing her or poking her with a jagger, though i'm actually stating the fact.
should i be a baddie or a goodie and ended up with internal injuries and bleedings for swallowing and keeping all the emotions in me?
and I miss you already
