it's another weekend.
hmm.. managed to survive through the 2 days without anybody's help for the email quires from Astar, nus staffs and students
*a round of applause*actually i needed some help la, honestly. but it just so happen that the bosses were out for meeting three-quarter of the day and when they were in, they were busy "interviewing" those professionals. so just have to try my luck... and bingo! hehe..
kinda feel that i have wasted the past 5 days doing redundant thing. went through the list of titles subscribed by haj cos i need to check through those missing titles after she subscribed all and went for her holiday. unintentionally, i spotted a whole list of 28 titles not subscribed, but! it was marked as subscribed! totally stunned. that's consider quite alot.
after which, transformed into Sherlock Holmes and decided to go through the whole list of 3000+ titles and to my surprise, a total of 81 titles were subscribed wrongly, which made up 29% of the total. some were missing titles but were marked as subscribed, some were subscribed when it's not in the list and majority were not subscribed but were marked as subscribed. !@#$%^&*^%^*
if the errors were about 5% of the total, still quite acceptable cos we are all human and human makes error, but 29% is way too much.. more than a quarter!
i shouldn't be checking her work cos she should be the one responsible for it. the reason why i gave her this big package (with 3000+ titles) cos i feel that she should be up to it.
i guess i was wrong.
don't know if i should be mad at the number of errors she made or pity her cos she couldn't even finish an easy assignment perfectly when she don't even have to use her brain, all she need was to concentrate and stay focus.
imagine how was i feeling when going through the list and spotting more and more errors. temperature went higher and higher nearly seeing fumes coming out of my head, really wonder what was she thinking when she's subscribing the titles. luckily was chatting with jw at that time. not sure if he's cracking up jokes or what, but what he said were really funny, which kinda brings down my temperature.
noticed more and more entries on haj huh? and they were mostly negative. yea.. can't help. i don't want it either, but what to do. somehow it seems like i always manage to spot her mistakes unintentionally. hence causing me to be in a awkward position whether to point it out to her or let it be. what's worse is that i'm 8 years her junior and she is 10 years more experience than me, i'm in no position to tell her. imagine how would she feel when a junior points out her mistakes. and if i were to keep them to myself, first i'll be so bloated with all her mistakes cos there's nowhere i can vent it out because i never like to share it with my colleagues, cos it's like i'm bad-mouthing her and because she doesn't know her mistakes, she'll end up making more and i'll end up so bloated that i'll explode sooner or later.
*sigh*It has been years.. how much longer do i still need..?
Tired.
and I miss you already
