Happy New Year!

yea.. it's gonna be a brand new year in less than an hour. so fast! another year is approaching.

went to bugis this afternoon in search for CNY clothes and did a good deed today! well.. wy pushed me a phone right when i met her. picking the phone without knowing a thing, the 1st word that i received from the other party was "UE Square". i was like, "huh???"
so.. it's actually this ah ma who approached wy with her phone and her son's namecard (of cos she's not trying to 'promote' her son to wy) and asked wy to dial the number for her. and probably that ah ma went to the wrong place or probably she was lost, so her son told us to bring that ah ma to cab down to UE Square, where he'll be there waiting for her.
and poor wy doesn't know about the place, so we brought the ah ma to the taxi stand outside Junction. it is practically like 2 little girls trying to coax a old ah ma la. because ah ma walks slower, so we ended up way infront of her waving our hands for her to come over. imagine that.. lai lai lai..
in the end, wy communicated with the ah ma about what's going on, and i told the cabbie uncle where to ferry the ah ma. *wy, hi 5!

what a great way to end 2008! i was feeling so happy after seeing the ah ma smiled and waved to us when the cab drove off. Aww... hope she managed to reach her son successfully.
